BALLOON PERFORMANCE AND PRECAUTIONS

GLOSSY VS MATTE FINISH
When latex balloons are initially inflated, they typically exhibit a glossy surface. In some designs, this glossiness may also come with a translucent appearance. However, this glossy and translucent state may be temporary. Upon delivery or shortly thereafter, it’s common for the glossy finish to transition to a matte finish, and the translucent quality may become opaque. These changes are attributed to oxidation, which can be influenced by various meteorological conditions. It’s important to note that this transformation is normal, and there is no practical treatment available to prevent it.

DEFECTIVE BALLOONS
In the extremely rare case where balloons appear defective, we will replace them at no cost if the following conditions are met:
  1. The customer informs BalloonArt SD of the issue within 3 days of delivery.
  2. The defective balloons are present and available for pick-up when the replacement balloons arrive.
  3. The balloons have not been transported from their original delivery location.

EFFECTS OF ELEVATION, SUNLIGHT, AIR CONDITIONING, AND WIND
At BalloonArt SD, we use the top names in balloon suppliers to keep your balloon decoration or sculpture looking beautiful for as long as possible. Balloon decorations, including arches, garlands, and floor compositions will last for the length of your celebration and in most situations longer then you can imagine. they can last for several days to weeks when kept indoors. However, if placed outdoors, their lifespan typically ranges from a few hours to a couple of days depending on weather conditions. High winds, extreme heat, humidity and rain all affect balloon decor left outside. We DO NOT offer replacements or refunds on decor placed outside.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
  • Popped latex balloons pose a choking hazard for small children. It is important not to leave small children unattended with latex balloons.
  • Do not release balloons outdoors. They can become entangled in power lines, potentially causing power failures.
  • Do not inhale helium from a balloon. While helium itself is not toxic or flammable, inhaling it can lead to asphyxiation, causing a loss of consciousness due to insufficient oxygen.
