DELIVERY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Please review these policies thoroughly before placing your order. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us for assistance.

Facility Restrictions:
    • If we are unable to make a delivery due to facility restrictions, we will inform you promptly. You will have the option to reschedule, change the delivery address, or cancel the order. Please ensure that the facility accepts latex balloons before making a purchase.
Product and Service Complaints:
    • Please report any service issues within three days after delivery. We will take prompt action to address reported issues. To facilitate resolution, kindly email a photograph of defective balloons along with the order number to info@balloonartsd.com.
Balloon Releases:
    • We do not offer balloons for release due to environmental concerns. We recommend exploring alternative options for your event.
Non-Contact Deliveries:
    • Whenever possible, we will schedule non-contact deliveries. Before preparing the order, we will contact the recipient or a contact at the delivery destination to confirm the delivery details.
    • It’s essential for someone to be available at the delivery location to receive the balloons at the scheduled time. If the balloons need to be delivered outdoors, we will confirm that someone will be available to bring them indoors.
Anonymous Deliveries:
    • We do not provide anonymous delivery service. If no signature is provided on the greeting card, we will reveal the sender’s name upon request by the recipient.
Residential Deliveries:
    • Please note that we cannot provide surprise delivery service. Balloons must be accepted by someone at the residence in person. Balloons cannot be dropped off and left unattended, even if such a request is submitted with the order.

Doorman buildings
  • We may call the recipient to confirm that the doorman is capable of accepting and storing a large package.

Homes And Non-Doorman Buildings
  • We will contact the residence to schedule a delivery time when someone is available to accept the order. Typically, this call will be made by late morning on the delivery date or the day prior to delivery. In the case of same-day orders, the call may be made later in the afternoon on the delivery date.If we are unable to reach someone by phone, we will leave a call-back number and wait for contact to be made before proceeding with the delivery. The arrival time of the delivery will depend on when the recipient returns our call and may be later than the order’s posted deadline. If it becomes apparent that we will not be able to complete a delivery on the scheduled delivery date due to unsuccessful coordination of a delivery time, we will contact the customer. The customer may choose to cancel the order or to reschedule the delivery for the following day at no additional charge.

SPECIAL DELIVERY TIME FRAMES
Special delivery time frames, are intended for orders going to doorman residences. For non-doorman residences, a standard time frame should be selected. The standard time frames are:
10am to 12pm
1pm to 3pm
6pm to 8pm

The actual delivery time within the selected time frame depends on the arrangement made during our telephone conversation with someone at the residence. The delivery time agreed upon during this call takes priority over the time frame requested on the order.

IF NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO ACCEPT THE ORDER
If the mentioned procedures have been followed, and no one is available to accept the delivery upon our arrival, the order will be returned to our office, and the sender will be notified. In such cases, an additional delivery charge will apply to complete the delivery. Please note that undeliverable orders will not be refunded

Elementary, Middle, and High School Deliveries:
    • Before placing your order, please contact the school and ensure that the order will be accepted by the front office. Delivering to students in class is not permitted. It is also important to confirm that the office will accept responsibility for advising the student that balloons are waiting for them at the front office.
Some schools don’t allow the delivery of balloons due to latex allergies. Please check with the school administration to determine if this restriction applies before placing your order.

On-Campus College Deliveries:
    • Deliveries to college students on campus are welcome, but delivery to students in class is not permitted. Balloons are usually delivered to a central mail room. Deliveries to dormitories can be made if the dormitory is open to the public and a receptionist can accept the order on the student’s behalf. Please contact the school prior placing an order. BalloonArt SD accepts no liability if the student does not pick up the order from the mail room.

Hotel Deliveries:
    • We cannot deliver balloons directly to a guest’s room for security reasons. All hotel deliveries are left with the concierge, the front desk, bell desk, or the loading dock, depending on the hotel’s policy. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact the hotel and ensure that their order is delivered to the guest by the hotel. After the balloons have been delivered to the hotel, BalloonArt SD considers the delivery successfully completed. Please note that during hotel deliveries, several staff members may be involved in transferring the balloons within the hotel premises. As a result, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage or misplacement of balloons that may occur during such transits.

Deliveries to Secure Facilities:
    • In restricted access facilities, balloons will be left with a receptionist, mail clerk, or security staff. Please provide a contact number for the recipient to arrange pick-up.
Hospital Deliveries:
    • We are currently not delivering to Hospitals, where Latex balloons are generally banned due to allergy concerns.
